I've reinvented myself so many times, I can't remember where I started. I only know where I'm going and this is who I am today. Now, tomorrow....
I'm a Kentucky native and resident, a transplanted Ohioan at heart. I've been writing for all of my life but publishing only within the last ten years. I love to write. I love to read but I love to write. I love the process of writing, and the sharing of what I've written later. I'm what they call a "speculative fiction" writer, which is a fancy way of saying I can't pick a genre to stay in. I truly love them all and they tend to end up in my books. I write a combination of romance, historical, science fiction, fantasy, thrillers, and make them work as I go.
I currently have three books published that are my own -- Illusions & Reality, A Wager of Blood, and An Opportunity for Resentment (The Brothers Cameron series). I say "that are my own" because my name is also linked to several works because I served as the editor. I have two more books about to be released within the next few months -- The Savior will be a re-release under the Edin Road Press banner and Wilde Mountain Time has been picked up by Ravenheart Press.
With the exception of Wilde Mountain Time, I am an Indie Author and proud of it. I choose to be Indie because I want the control over my work. I want the only Gatekeepers I have to satisfy to be my readers.
I currently am a member of ASCAP, the Erotic Authors Association, and the KY Indie Authors network. I write three literary columns (KY Literature Examiner, KY Writing Examiner, and the National Indie Romance Novel Examiner) for an online news site, Examiner.com. I am also the hostess of an online radio show, Edin Road Radio, where we feature authors and their works and get them out there to an audience of hungry readers looking for new, savvy voices. Edin Road Press is actually my baby, as well, but with a twist. Rather than being a Indie Press only, it serves as a boutique press for three friends -- myself, Lorrieann Russell, and David J Roth. It's just us and we're happy for that.
I'm always writing and I'm always planning out new books that I think will entertain you. You can keep watch on me through my blog and learn more there. And you can email me at firstname.lastname@example.org. I'd love to hear from you.
