Written as J. W. Coffey

I also love science fiction, fantasy, and the paranormal. These are my books written as J. W. Coffey.

Illusions & Reality is a short story collection that runs the genre gamut from romance to historical fiction to thriller to satire. I put this together to promote a book that hadn't been released at the time of a book signing. I love these stories and I've always been glad to bring them back to the forefront. Included in here is a novella, Salt of the Earth, that was serialized in The Writers Post Journal. And there's a chapter of the then as yet released -- but has since been re-released -- novel A Wager of Blood.

A Wager of Blood was originally intended to be a short ghost story. But, it was far too much fun to write and so it grew into the book it is today -- by being my NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month) project that year. It turned into one harrowing ride for me.

It was in the year 1760, when it all began with an innocent game of dice. And before the night was over, four people were dead and a man was driven insane by greed. And in the present day, four friends will learn the secrets and face the demons of that night. And one of them will learn the most important lesson of all. When you dice with the devil, every toss is A Wager of Blood.

This blog seems like a journey of the internal contents of a book. As such it is a novel idea and deserves to be appreciated. The presentation needs a little more work.
