Wow. Not only is Salt of the Earth getting some super reviews, but the sales are going quite nicely. Thanks to the ladies of the KIW, my book is getting out there in the world. Okay, not as huge as the other ladies' sales but hey, for me? This is HUUUUUUUUUUGE.
Sales to date: 16

Wow. But the real proof is in the pudding. And the pudding is coming on the first of October. Someone asked me when the novella would go up for free. Given the story of ghosts and solids and cemeteries, October is the perfect month. But since I'm given only five days every three months to do the free promotion, I had to be somewhat circumspect about it. So...
I split up my five days. For those of you reading, the schedule is set -- Oct 1 - 3, you'll be able to get Salt of the Earth for your Kindle (or any device where you have the free Kindle app) for absolutely free. And then, again -- to celebrate the Halloween/Samhain holiday -- on Oct 30 - 31.
And that's when the Great Experiment really begins, doesn't it. To see what happens with the freebies and will it translate into sales. I know it always does for me. I get a lot of free books, thanks to ereaderiq.com and I've found some fantastic authors. And yes, I've already blogged about this, so you can read that one for yourself. Authors I love, I go buy out their catalogue. Susan Higginbotham, Donna McDonald, David McAfee are just a few of the names. And I know I'm not the only one. I'm hoping this will hook others into reading my back catalogue. I'm hoping...we'll see.
And in the meantime, I'm working on The Savior to have it ready for publication in December -- again on Amazon only for a bit. I'm psyched up and ready to see what happens next.
Here I go.
