The Savior is coming along nicely. I confess that I'm fixing things -- first time author's booboos, updating things, a few typos (very few thankfully), things of that sort -- but the story was essentially in sound shape. And I can't wait to share it with you.
In the meantime, I wanted to have a release of some sorts. I don't want an overly long gap between releases. So, I've decided to release a novella of mine on its own. I loved The Salt of the Earth as I wrote it. It originally started life as a serial release for The Writers Post Journal, a monthly magazine. When I was invited to a book signing with some friends, I was a few months away from my release of A Wager of Blood and I needed something. So, I put a short story collection together, along with a sample chapter of Wager and included Salt.
That was Illusions & Reality. I sold out of the copies I took with me to the book signing. But it's a bit buried in the romantic stories that I included, since this was the only novella and it's just a ball of giggles, mostly. So, whilst I finish up The Savior for December release and Lorrieann gets the covers ready for her re-release of My Brother's Keeper and The Savior...I present Rip Porter and The Salt of the Earth.
Next time we meet, I'll introduce you to Rip. He's a pretty cool guy. I think you'll like him.
